Taste of The Bay is an outdoor food festival where you can savor signature dishes from Sarasota’s best locally-owned restaurants. Presented by Sarasota-Manatee Originals in partnership with The Bay Park, Sarasota, the event offers delicious bites at enticing prices. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover new favorites while enjoying the beautiful waterfront setting.
You are invited to come hungry and ready to mingle with friends, indulge in culinary delights, and tap your toes to live music – all while celebrating our local culinary scene and delicious Gulf-coastal lifestyle.

- Cashless purchases for food and beverages; credit card only
- Food is purchased with food tickets; tickets available for purchase at the event with credit card only
- Beverages can be purchased separately with a credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay (not with Food Tickets)
Food Tickets can be purchased at a ticket table the day of the event. Tickets are sold in $5 increments, and you will receive 5 tickets for $5. Most food items range between 3 and 5 tickets. All Food Ticket sales are non-refundable and Food Tickets can not be used to purchase beverages.

How much does the event cost, and how do I pay?

Taste of the Bay Food Tickets can be purchased at a ticket table the day of the event with credit card only. Tickets are sold in $5 increments. You will receive 5 tickets for $5. Most food items range between 3 and 5 tickets. All food ticket sales are non-refundable and food tickets can not be used to purchase beverages.
FOOD TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED WITH CREDIT CARD ONLY.
Beverages can be purchased separately with credit card only.
Is parking available?
- Some events attract large crowds. Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
- The primary vehicle entrance is located off the 10th Street Roundabout and N. Tamiami Trail.
- South Van Wezel Way will be closed for this event.
- The primary pedestrian entrance is located on Blvd of the Arts (6th Street).
- Free Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in front of the Van Wezel (777 N. Tamiami Trail), Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda (655 N. Tamiami Trail), as well as along the north side of Blvd of the Arts and in the nearby Rosemary District. Please avoid parking on the south side of Blvd of the Arts and in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
- Handicapped Parking is available along Blvd of the Arts, in front of the Van Wezel and the Blue Pagoda.
Are pets allowed?
All pets must be non-aggressive and on a 6-foot leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
What if it rains?
In the event of inclement weather, this event will be POSTPONED until a later date. Updates will be shared on The Bay website calendar, Eventbrite, Facebook and Instagram up to one hour before the scheduled start time.
