ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a local, hands-on marketing professional to help grow our restaurant’s online presence and community engagement. This is an in-person, part-time position for someone who enjoys working directly with a local business and can visit the restaurant regularly.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize our online profiles, including Google Business Profile, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Toast, Open Table, and other restaurant platforms.
- Keep business information, menus, hours, photos, and promotions current across all online listings.
- Create and schedule engaging social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Develop and promote special events, seasonal promotions, and community activities.
- Provide website recommendations and coordinate updates as needed.
- Work with local organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce and Originals membership, to maximize marketing opportunities and partnerships.
- Visit the restaurant regularly to gather photos, videos, and content for marketing campaigns.
- Monitor marketing performance and recommend ideas to increase customer traffic and online engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience with restaurant or small business marketing preferred.
- Knowledge of Google Business Profile, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Toast, OpenTable, and social media platforms.
- Basic website management experience (WordPress or similar platforms is a plus).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Must be local and available to meet in person and visit the restaurant regularly.
Position Details
- Part-time (hours are flexible based on experience and workload).
- Remote with weekly progress reports and site visit.
- Compensation based on experience.
