Reyna’s Taqueria is a locally-owned and operated, traditional Mexican restaurant located in the City of Sarasota at Sarasota Commons. We proudly use fresh, local ingredients. Our recipes were handed down from generation to generation (actually at least three generations) and we are fortunate to have learned them from cooking side-by-side with Mexico’s best chef, our Mother Doña Reyna, as she is known in the small town of Matamoros Puebla.

After years of making her recipes for our friends and enjoying hand pressed tortillas, muchas salsas, and fresh ingredients – and yes – muchas Sangrias too, our friends encouraged us to share these dishes with the rest of the world and make mom proud. We want to continue the tradition.

There is no better way to honor the star behind all this, our beloved Mother Reyna. Tacos, Sangria, and good friends make things happen and make life great. Thanks Mom.
