The Harry’s story began in 1978, when Harry Christensen first dreamed of bringing restaurant-quality meals into the homes of Sarasota locals. Together with his wife Lynn, he opened the original Continental Kitchen in 1979 on Longboat Key, serving take-out dinners and sandwiches that quickly won a devoted following. By 1985, their vision expanded into the full-service restaurant that has become a fixture for residents and visitors alike.

Today, Harry and Lynn’s son, Hal, carries on the family legacy as General Manager, leading with a passion for fine food, wine, and community.
