The Château story began on the shores of Lake George, New York, where Buddy and Jen transformed a restored 1800s lakefront home into The Château on the Lake, a two-time “Top 100 Restaurants in America” award winner and a romantic inn. The restaurant gained national acclaim after appearing on the Food Network’s Summer Rush, celebrated for its elevated cuisine featuring seafood, organic meats, and lamb—all served with impeccable attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality.
