Amore Restaurant in Sarasota offers an inviting blend of Italian and Portuguese cuisine in the heart of downtown’s Burns Court district. Owned by Tito and Liana Vitorino, the restaurant combines family-run warmth with creative culinary ambition. Inside, you’ll find multiple dining rooms including a more intimate, elegant “Madonna Room,” as well as a vine-ceilinged rear room and a patio shaded by grapevine ambiance.

A semi open-air front section gives glimpses into the kitchen through glass panels, letting diners see the chef at work. On the menu, you’ll find signature dishes like sautéed baby octopus, lamb shank with Barolo demiglace, salmon piccata, and Portuguese staples such as cataplana de marisco and polvo à lagareiro.
